The grant award funds measurement of 10-Be and 26-Al in ten samples for determination of surface exposure dates on boulders in the White Pine rockslide that dammed Little Cottonwood Canyon. It complements our RCG award. The work is collaborative with Cassandra Fenton, Colorado Mesa University, and Klaus Wilcken, Australian Nuclear Science Technology Organisation. Sample preparation is being done in Utah at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University by undergraduate students.
